Wow, what a week, it’s finally here! What a privilege it has been to be a part of the process of bringing these Commemorative Certificates for Victorian Families.
As many of your are aware I am the WA State Co-ordinaor for Sands ( miscarriage, stillbirth and newborn death support) and also Red Nose, so as someone who works in bereavement support and is also a bereaved parent myself, it was an honour to be commissioned to produce the artwork for these certificates.
All thanks must go to our Victorian colleagues and the many wonderful Victorian families who made this happen.
Till has been involved in stillbirth support since her daughter’s death in 2014.
Since that event, Till became President of Sands Western Australia (miscarriage, stillbirth & newborn death support), and is a writer and Advocate for Still Aware (Stillbirth Prevention Awareness) all whilst running her own website, Blue Sky & Lullaby (thestilllifeproject.org) She currently works with Red Nose Australia in Bereavement support.
As an Artist, she was commissioned by the State governments of Vic and ACT to provide the artwork for their Commemorative Certificates, available through Births, Deaths and Marriages in those sates.
Till's writing has been featured by Mamamia, The Antenatal and Postnatal Psychology Network, The Daily Mail, Scary Mommy and the Australian Broadcasting Association(ABC) mainly focusing on her work on subject of bereavement.
Till is also a contributor to Emily Longs book, ‘From Mother to Mother: On the loss of a Child’ published in 2018.
